Henriksberg and Eloshäll
Sketch proposal for development of the site

The Neijp-Henriksberg Foundation and Stockholm’s City invited us to take part in parallel sketch proposals for the development of a site in Henriksberg and Eolshäll, close to the lake Mälaren´s shoreline in southwest Stockholm.
The purpose of the parallel sketching was to illustrate an overall solution for the Henriksberg and Eolshäll site. The site’s specific characteristics, history and topography needed to be taken on board in a proposal that was technically and economically feasible.
A selection of The Sketch Commission´s comments on our proposals was as follows.

The architect showed a strong involvement and passion for the project. The presentation was both charming and poetic and the way it illustrated the scheme was very good and inspiring. The proposal demonstrated great care and quality of thought in the shaping of public places. The proposals have well considered sun and wind conditions on the site. It showed concern for the cultural heritage and the existing buildings. The scheme exhibited a deep understanding of “place”. The proposal had taken notice of the social aspects of the project. Beautiful watercolours.
